Fika

Hey guys!
Its been a while since I posted anything up since I've been busy and all.

This post has been a long overdue! Couple months back my dear friend Marilyn had her 21st, and my friends and I decided to give this dear beloved friend of ours a surprise!

We decided to meet at a restaurant that we girls have been wanting to try and conveniently enough, there was a outlet at Millenia Walk (the other is located at Beach road) ; Fika Swedish Cafe and Bistro

The outlet is really nice! Pleasant atmosphere, cute layouts.. but one thing about it, its kinda small.. So if you are going to have a huge group of friends (like us) going to the cafe, you might want to call them to make a reservation first so that you will definitely have a seat and have a fun night.

The menu is filled with yummy food.. the price is a little bit pricey, main dishes can range from $16 to $24 which are mainly open faced sandwiches, crepes, meatballs and steaks. But it's pretty darn yummy! They have really yummy cakes and desserts too!

They don't allow outside food to be brought in, but if you are celebrating a birthday like us, ordering a slice of cake from them and requesting a candle with it is totally possible! Which I must say is a really good service especially when you wanna surprise your friend. (hehehe)

Oh! and a extra plus plus, it's HALAL! Owned and operated by Muslims which is really cool too!

Well~ Its time for pictures!
Let the drooling take place!

Penny University

Hey guys!
My friend Afiqah had been talking about this little Artisanal Coffeehouse - Penny university

So we decide to make our way there after school.. well, to be honest, the travelling took a way longer time than the eating.

The shop was in the East coast area and we were in Yio Chu Kang.. which if you don't know Singapore well, it was far away from each other.. especially when you don't wanna take a cab. It took us about over an hour just to get from on place to another.

But it was worth it.
The food.... was... I'll let it speak for itself ;)

Although the food is on the pricey side, but the food is really good (sedap!)!~

Can't remember the name of the dish I had.. cos it was pretty long time ago xp..
